Pope Francis approved changing the liturgical feast of St. Martha on July 29th to include her sister and brother, Mary and Lazarus.

“It was at their home in Bethany, just to the east of Jerusalem, that Christ always encountered a generous welcome, and great familial warmth, during the days of his public ministry.”

Every parish in Florida is asked to unite in prayer and encourage its parishioners to vote NO on Amendment 4 on November 5th.

It is necessary for Catholics to protect and promote the sanctity of life in all circumstances and stages of development.

Ever-living God, you give life and desire a future for all your children. Take hold of our nation, state, and community and awaken in every heart awe for the gift of life. Send your Spirit to strengthen us with wisdom and fortitude as we defend mothers and children in Florida from laws that disregard their health and safety.

Mary and Joseph trusted in you and welcomed Jesus into our broken world. God Almighty, we ask their intercession to protect the preborn and their mothers, and to guide all parents in raising their children. May they help us builda civilization of love by upholding the sacredness of life and accompanying pregnant women in need.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

María y José confiaron en ti y recibieron a Jesus en nuestro mundo quebrantado. Dios todopoderoso, pedimos que ellos intercedan para proteger a los niños por nacer y a sus madres, y dirigir a todos los padres y madres en la crianza de sus hijos. Stewardship isn’t a process, or a campaign, or an accounting of our gifts. Rather, it is a lifestyle rooted in gratitude and generosity.

“I, a prisoner of the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace: one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call;” Eph 4: 1-4

St. Paul reminds us to be worthy of the Lord’s calling us to virtue and to preserve community unity as one Body in Christ and in one Spirit. As Christian stewards, are we using our time, talent, and treasure to promote unity in our parish communion?

La corresponsabilidad no es un proceso, ni una campana, ni una contabilidad de nuetras donacione. Es mas bien un estilo de vida arraigado en la gratitud y la generosidad.

“Hermanos: Yo, Pablo, prisionero por la causa del Senor, los exhorto a que lleven una vida digna del llamamiento que han recibido. San Pablo nos recuerdo que somos dignos de que el Senor nos llame a la virtud y a preserver la unidad de la comunidad como un solo Cuerpo en Cristo y en un solo Espiritu. Como mayordomos cristianos,¿estamos usando nuestro tiempo, talento y tesoro para promover la unidad en nuestra comunidad parroquial?

ABCD - Stewardship

Stewardship is a way of life; we recognize by faith that everything we are and everything we have are gifts from God. Stewardship is not a matter of giving a little more; rather, it is a way of life.

“Do not be afraid; just have faith.”
- Mark 5:36

Jesus spoke these simple words to the synagogue official before curing the little girl. We are all faced with challenges and tribulations daily.

Do we truly have faith as good stewards and place things in His hands or are we afraid and feel troubled?

Our commitment to the 2024 ABCD as a parish is a testimony to our collective faith and the love we have for those in need. Though we have made significant progress, we’ve yet to meet our goal. Every contribution helps, and with your support, we can make a real difference. When you register in the parish, come to mass on Sundays and participate in parish activities, you are practicing your faith and are considered an active parishioner. When you use the offertory envelops or online giving, you are showing your commitment in supporting your parish, as well as creating a record of your active presence in the community. Registration is required for receiving any parish official document, such as eligibility certificates to be godparents, permits to celebrate sacraments in other churches, school verification for children, or any other letter for legal purposes. Registration for at least six months is required for the celebration of sacraments.

Registration forms are available online or by calling the parish office (954) 458-1590.

Cuando usted se registra en la parroquia, asiste a misa los domingos y participa en las actividades parroquiales, usted está practicando su fe y es considerado un parroquiano activo. Cuando usted usa los sobres de ofrenda o donación en línea, usted está mostrando su compromiso en apoyar su parroquia y proveyendo un récord de su presencia activa en la comunidad.
