This fundraising will help with the expenses to fix our gazebos.

The tickets will be available from September 13th in all the masses.

Addressing Over Eighty Thousand Faithful Filling Saint Peter’s Square On Sunday September 7, 2025 For The Mass with The Canonization of Pier Giorgio Frassatiandcarlo Acutis, Pope Leo Xiv Says The Examples of These Two Young Saints Invite All of Us, Especially Young People, To Direct Our Lives Upwards to God and Make Them Masterpieces of Holiness, Service, And Joy.

They encourage us with their words:

“Not I, but God,” as Carlo used to say. And Pier Giorgio: If you have God at the center of all your actions, then you will reach the end.” This is the simple but winning formula of their holiness. It is also the type of witness we are called to follow, in order to enjoy life to the full and meet the Lord in the feast of heaven.”

The feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross celebrates two historical events: the discovery of the True Cross by Saint Helena, the mother of the Emperor Constantine, in 320 under the temple of Venus in Jerusalem, and the dedication in 335 of the basilica and shrine built on Calvary by Constantine, which mark the site of the Crucifixion.

The basilica, named the Martyrium, and the shrine, named the Calvarium, were destroyed by the Persians in 614. The Church of the Holy sepulcher which now stands on the site was built by the crusaders in 1149.

When you register in the parish, come to Mass on Sundays and participate in parish activities, you are practicing your faith and are considered an active parishioner. When you use the offertory envelops or online giving, you are showing your commitment in supporting your parish, as well as creating a record of your active presence in the community.

Registration is required for receiving any parish official document, such as eligibility certificates to be godparents, permits to celebrate sacraments in other churches, school verification for children, or any other letter for legal purposes.

Registration for at least six months is required for the celebration of sacraments.
