Managing God’s Gifs to Us

Your faithful stewardship - whether through weekly offerings, volunteer service, or sharing your gifts ensures that our parish can continue to be a place where others receive God's love, where seekers find spiritual nourishment, and where all who knock find a welcoming Christian community. Jesus assures us that if we ask, God will take care of what we need. In our asking we must not confuse our needs with our wants. God will only give advantageous gifts to his children so we must ask for good things as He will not give us bad or injurious things.

An example of a good gift is the gift of the Holy Spirit according to Luke 11:3.

In prayer, let s ask God to increase our understanding of what He considers good ” and to cultivate a desire in us for what is good.
